Colorado Springs Utilities provides a number of apprenticeship programs through our Technical Training Department and in collaboration with our journey level workers. The programs, a majority of which are certified by the Department of Labor (DOL) and Veteran's Administration (VA), incorporate self-study, technical training, and on-the-job learning to enhance craft and trade skills. We not only provide a foundation through apprenticeship programs but also offer an ongoing refresher for journey-level employees, ensuring we have a productive, safe and highly-skilled workforce.
