We promote a culture of health and wellness and our Vitality wellness program is designed to reinforce our commitment to helping you and your spouse/civil union partner become and remain healthy by providing rewards for making healthy lifestyle choices. Activities include completing a health review, working toward completing recommended goals, registering for a Vitality Check (biometric screening), and completing other Vitality activities to increase Vitality points to work your way up through the Blue, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum status levels.  The Vitality Group is our contracted vendor for the wellness program.


By participating in the Vitality wellness program you can earn various rewards such as gym membership subsidies/rebates; shopping at the Vitality Rewards Mall for merchandise; weight loss management rebates; smoking cessation rebates and HRA funding.


We also have a Health Improvement Program (HIP) that complements the Vitality wellness program. Under the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region program, benefit-eligible employees and spouses/civil union partners may each participate in up to twenty individual group fitness classes, eight holistic health and wellness coaching services and one fitness assessment at no cost. You also have access to a corporate membership program that provides you a monthly membership discount. 

Under the Penrose St. Francis program,  benefit-eligible employees and spouses/civil union partners may each participate in up to six well-baby classes, one biometric screening (Vitality Check), and a flu shot at no cost.
